Hey all, I have a 95 STS stereo that I would like to install into my 442.. but, all the wiring diagrams that I've looked at, don't help anything. The colours that I have coming out are different than the ones that are listed on this site, and different than the wiring diagrams that I got from GM..
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!\

Is it out of a Deville STS?  Is there an antenna jack on the rear of the radio.  I am guessing no.  The piece you have is simply a control head that controls the tuner/amplifier that is mounted in the trunk of the vehicle.  The colors that you have are the colors of the wires at the amplifier.

No, it was out of a standard STS, it has a tape and cd head in it.. so I would assume that it is a full deck.. two plugs coming out of it. we kept the car side of the wiring (cut the wires after the plug), but, one thing I noticed.. on the larger plug, only 1 wire doesn't carry through the plug(9 on the deck, 8 out of the plug), and on the other, 8 on the deck side, and only 4 carry out.. but no, there isn't any antenna plug on it...

I forgot to put a ? after the above line.   That sounds like the deck I thought it was.
