i'm trying to install a kenwood head unit into a 88 chevy nova.  i know the wiring diagram for the nova, but not for the harness.  i just need to know which is the constant power, etc. (i know what the speaker wires are)  i have a yellow, red, and black.  also....do i attach the ground wire from the car to metal or to the harness?

thanks

I don't understand how you know the "wiring diagram" but you don't know it "for the harness"...isn't that what the wiring diagram is for?  Or are you talking about the kenwood's harness?  If so, the yellow is constant, the red is +12volt switched, and the black one is ground.
