Someone was asking me about putting one of these guys in the car. www.pipeaudio.com How reliable are they? Do they just look pretty sitting in the back of the trunk or do they actually work? Not too concern about power I know what the specification are. Will they work over a year under common sense usage? Comments, negative and positive is greatly appreciate, only if you own one please? Rate in the same class as legacy, pyramid, boss, soundstorm, fosgate?……….. Just kidding about the last one. Thanks.

The frequency response is bad, they take up too much room for a car and the power rating isn't good.

I've worked with some, they sound really good for not brand named speakers. they are good but not the best .. for the money they are a good deal . just no sealed or bandpass boxes.. they are good for ported....

It says down to 35Hz. That's worse than Pyramid or Legacy.

I have never heard any of their speakers or amps but know people that have and they have told me that the quality is up there with boss and all that other junk. But for a beginners system or low budget I don’t see what’s wrong with using it. If they don’t abuse it you will most likely get a few years off it. However I have used their fuse holders and connectors etc and they all seam to be pretty good quality.

Thanks a lot guys, that's what I need to reconfirm my thoughts about audiopipe. Thanks dragonrage and bberman1 for your rating. That's what I need most. I don't know where to put them on my scale. I have never seen and heard of them. Again, thanks.
