Is there a device or a way of wiring a dual 4ohm sub down to 1 ohm? Thanks.
My simple setup on a 2008 Nissan Frontier:
Alpine IVA-W505
Alpine PXA-H100
Audison LRx 6.9
Dynaudio MD 100 (full active)
Dynaudio MW 162 (full active)
Pioneer TS-W258D4 10" shallow mount sub

Your only optins are a new woofer in a dual 2 ohm configuratio, or a second dual 4 ohm driver.

I was hoping there was a way of doing so by a series of relays since i saw this on the12volt.com
Wasnt there a gadget called impedance match or something a few years back?

That relay setup will allow you to switch between 8 ohms and 2 ohms.  No way to get it to 1 ohm.

A stereo amplifer bridged to the voice coils in parallel, will load the amplifier AS THOUGH it were driving a one ohm load per channel...
Otherwise, no. Not with only one driver.
Why do you fel you have to have a one ohm load? Are you aware that the output difference between a two ohm load or a one ohm load will be less than 3dB? You will never hear the difference, and you amp will run more efficiently, with lower distortion and less heat. Forget the one ohm idea, dude...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
