I have two sets of polk sr comps running on a kenwood xr-4s @ 120W per channel. I wish it was louder. The speakers max @150W rms. Would a jl 600 xd be worth the investment? How much louder could it get?

The human ear can not detect anything less than a 3dB increase. In order to achieve a 3dB increase, you must double the power. Going from 120 watts to 150 watts will not make an audible difference.
