This has been driving me crazy for as long as I can remember.  I have a 1995 Chevy Tahoe 4 dr, in which I have installed an Eclipse 5443 + GPS unit, (1)Kicker L7 12" in the vented kicker box (VS12L7,  http://www.kicker.com/ShowPage.cfm?filename=soloencl.html&menu=SUBWOOFERS, (2) 1.5 farad caps, 1 Eclipse 3322 (which will run the fronts once I choose what to get).

There are 3 issues, the first of which is most important.

1) My rear door speakers only play when the tuner is activated.  Once a CD is inserted, the speakers no longer play.  I have reduced the problem to the factory amp under the driver's side seat, as when I disconnect it, the 2 rear door speakers no longer function even with the radio on.  The $64,000.00 question is: WHERE CAN I GET A BYPASS HARNESS FOR THE FACTORY AMP!!! I have looked everywhere, and it seems like it is harder to find than a virgin in a frat house.

2) Does anyone have experience using one L7 with the JBL bp 1200.1?  After research, this is supposedly the best bang for the buck.  Anyone agree/disagree?

3) I want to get speakers all the way around, which would include 6.5 components up front, 6.5 coax in the rear doors, and giving up on the 4X10's in the faaar back, as my back seat passengers don't deserve rear fill.  I also don't want to break the bank.  I am thinking Infinity Kappa62.5i( http://www.ikesound.com/1024.htm) or maybe the INFINITY REFERENCE 605CS ($84 on ebay...).  I listen to Dance music and Rap mostly (flammers need not reply), so I would like crisp highs with a tight mid.  I have expreice with Eclipse components, and they where to "round" for my liking, nice for Dave Mathews, not for Lil' Flip.  What is your choice for speakers under $120? USED IS OK.....

Any advice would be appreciated.

OK.  I am retarded.  CD on = Amp On, Radio off = amp off?  I must have connected the power antenna cable to the amp's remote wire.  Looks like I'll be taking that dash apart......again.

Thanks to http://carstereohelp.net/wireharness_Delco2.htm , which jogged my memory a little.

THE OTHER 2 QUESTIONS ARE UP FOR GRABS!!!!!

you don't need a bypass plug, remove the  trim panels on the b pillars and cut the factory speaker wires coming in from the rear door jambs and run some speakers wires from there to your amp or deck, if I remember correctly both rear doors use the standard yellow and brown wires, your brown wire is positive
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't fix your brakes, so I made your horn louder"
