This is for any box building guru's
I have a question on ports. I want to make square ports(ducts) instead of rounds ones. I know the formula on making the ports. Pie r square is the formula and if you plug in a 4 in port you will get a area of 12.56. So will the ports be 1 by 12.56 and the length or can you make it 2 by 12.56 or does it have to be 2 by 6.28. Next question is instead of using 2 ports for 2 subs can I combined the ports, if so what will the dimension be with my current question.

1) You would need (2) ports each 2 X 6.28

2) I would not suggest doing so

.
