I have a 98 olds intrigue.  I am setting up my amp and subs.  I was just outside looking where i was going to run the power wire through into my car and I noticed a box labeled "fuse relay center."  This box has a positive terminal on it with an easily removable bolt.  I was thinking that this might be a simple place to run the amp power from but I'm not sure.  Should I go straight to the battery and can I go to the fuse relay center instead?

You need to go directly to the battery terminal.
