Ok i have a 2003 saturn ion...I Got a harness and connected all the wires up and put it in and it will not work.... i have an idea of what the problem may be.... There is a silver wire that is seperate then all of the other wires on the factory radio it connects to a little metal tab... I think that may possibly be the ground wire.... because the player does nothing...and i touched the black wire to it i forgot it was on and it sparked and blew the fuse...if that is the case would i connect the neg. wire to that would it work?????

You have to run a switched acc. lead, the factory radio does not have one. You could just put a ring terminal on the ground and screw it into a metal brace behind the radio on either side.
