Hey y'all just installing my HOA and wanted to ask a question. Why is it that when I install a power wire to the back that I have to have it fused, but don't have to have the wire from my alternator to my battery fused? Just wondering!!

you need to put a fuse before your main firewall...you dont need a fuse between your alternaor and battery unless you think you have done a shabby job were that wire might come loose...that wire has no need to ever come off so has no need for a fuse..you fure your power wire to protect your equipment from surges and so forth
