At the moment i'm having real problems deciding weather or not i want to keep my current sub setup. I curently have 2x Pioneer TS-W1001C running off a Candence Z1000
I have them wired in parellel running at 2ohms on that amp. My main problem is i'm not feeding them enough power as i would like. So basically i'm not looking to upgrade my amp because i really don't want to be running all that much more power. So i'm looking to sell of my subs to a friend and get my hands on 2x Eclipse SW6102.4 to replace them seeing as i have enough power to run these. What do you think should i stay with my current setup or go for those low end eclipse. I'm really not sure what to do but was an idea i had.

Those Eclipses will defiantly give you more output as well better Sq then the pioneers even if they had the proper power going to them. I think you would be happy with the upgrade.

Thanks for your input as per usualy bberman. I thought to myself last night way don't i get a pair of subs that i can power properly that way my SQ will be a lot better and not this really muddy bass. But i see the Xmas on the eclipse for that model is almost an inch which is more than the pioneers which only have 0.7 so i think i might end up with a bit more bang as well.... what do u think?

They will defiantly move allot more air, that Xmas of 0.99"is one way. As far as sq goes they will defiantly sound much better than the Pioneers.

Does anyone know what the recommend box size is for 1 of these 10's? I heard them in a 1 cu./ft box and they sounded pretty nice. I currently have a 0.6 cu./ft chamber per pioneer.

Ok. My orginal thought of what the Xmas on the pioneers was that they were point 0.7 infact they are only point 0.3. So this upgrade is sounding better all the time!
