Lots of car companies are running 2 ohm speakers these days, especially in "premium" audio systems.  Your JVC head unit will not like this, as it is rated at 4 ohms.  (the actual rating on the KD X111 "El Kameleon" deck is 19 watts RMS per channel X4 into 4-ohms.)

I highly recomend you replace the factory speakers.  HERE is a good web site to help you remove and replace them.  Watch out, if you have the "Active Sound System" there are factory amps you will also have to remove and/or bypass.

its a 02 nissan?   does it say active speaker on the grill of the rear speakers?  active audio is a company sometimes found in nissan vehicles.  if you have this, then the amp on the two rear speakers will have to be bypassed.  if its bose, then all the amps have to be bypassed and the speakers replaced.  but definitly do NOT install the aftermarket head unit with 2ohm speakers in the car...it will fry the headunit!

i do believe the rear speakers have "NDSS" written on them is that the active speaker system? if so does that mean the front speakers are 2 ohm and if i bypass the amp all that will be needed to be replaced is the rear speakers?

i think the amp will be in the trunk somewhere...possibly really close to the rear speakers.  as far as the ohm load on the front speakers...im not sure but just test them with a multimeter or pull them out and see what the back of them says.  most nissans have amps on each speaker.  and some have one amp on a pair of speakers.  i would also try looking behind the glovebox!
