cap needed?

Im installing an eclipse aluminum 15 with the alpine m500 amp, would you guys suggest putting a 1 farad cap if i can or would it not make much of a diff?

Well if your going for SQ then this is a pretty good choice as they are great for voltage regulation. Just remember adding a cap puts extra strain on your vehicles electrical system, but sounds as though it shouldn't be too much of a problem for you.

I guess i wont need one then. Im putting in components eventually and the reason im only running a m500 is because i dont want to strain my elec. system. Thanks
