Hello all,
Anybody ever worked on a 1995 Porche 968? I will be attempting to replace the head unit, anybody got any input on any unusual installation? or its just as most cars, power & speaker harness hook up? is there a pre amp or anything that need to be bypassed? your expedite reply yo all would be appreciated.   Thanks much
Fred.

i only worked on one porsche and it was a carerra.  i dont know if they are all the same or not but there was an amp under the passenger seat in this one.  it had to be bypassed, there is like 5 wires in the harness in the factory radio....that would be power, acc, ground, pwr ant., and illumination.   so you gotta run speaker wires from the new headunit to the amp wires.  you have to cut the wires at the amp so the speakers are directly powered from the new headunit.

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
