Installing cd player in RV - no big fancy set!  Doing all 12v wiring myself - newbie.  Need some help please.  The RV 12v system not connected to RV 24v system hence no ignition cable - can the red cable (ACC) be joined to the 'always on'  yellow cable or must it be a separate wire back to battery?  Auto electrician sold me 2.5 mm2 cable (AWG 13 gauge) for both power to head unit and for speakers.  Will this be big enough?  I'm using insulated return for all 12v wiring.  Headunit approx 4 metres from the battery .  Unit has max 10amp power draw. 4 * 50W speakers.  front 2 speakers 2 metres from unit, back 2 apprx 5 metres.  Any advice appreciated.

You can connect the two together, but just make sure that you always shut off the radio manually otherwise it will be left on once the key is out of the ignition. The gauge wire for the speakers and the deck will be adequate.
