96 dsm alipine install with factory amp

hey guys whats up im new here, i installed the alpine headunit with out using the factory amp.  the front speackers sound terible for some reason, like there not getting enough juice, finally the head unit turned off and the lamp light dont work. i checked the fuse underneath the hood, replaced it and the still dont work. is there another fuse somewhere?  is there a way to connect the head unit to the factory amp and wht will i need, how will i do it, and where do i get the parts?
