I installed a pair of MA Audio tweeters in a Honda Accord Friday. The vehicle already had tweeters(at the top of the a pillars) They were not working so I installed the MA set. Well this morning she came back and said they dont work. I checked out the butt splices and they were fine. The speakers were not grounding out and the wire was not pinched. I pulled the radio to check the connections there and they were fine also. If I had wired the tweets up out of phase would it of caused this? I dont see how it could but I was wanting a second opinion. I quess they could of been a bum pair? Well thanks for the help.

I assume you're using a crossover?  Wiring out of phase will not blow a speaker.  Running too much power (or in the case of a tweeter running too low frequencies to them) will.  What's the Xover frequency and what's the power rating of the speaker VS the amp rating?
