I have a 02 Pontiac T/A with a monsoon system.....Its my understanding that the factory subs that are in the side panels use a crossover and run mono....Where are the wires from the radio for the subs?

There are not any wires at the radio, the sub gets it power from the amplifier. So if you look at the color of the wires connected to the sub, you should see the same color wires coming out of the amp. Are you trying to add a high to low converter?

The best way to do it is to tap into the factory sub wires just before the factory sub(s) Dose the car have one sub or two?

Your converter should have 2 channels (+-,+-) . You will need to tap into each side in order for it to work correctly. Then you will connect the rca cables to the converter and that will give you the signal input on your amp. It is important that you wire the + of the speaker wire to the + of the converter and - to - . If you do not wire it correctly your subs will be out of phase and will not sound rite. I do not have a diagram of the T/A a monsoon to tell you which are + and which are -
