Box for Polk audio sub?

I have a polk audio sub i bought from a dealer that sells new and used equiptment?? It is in a ported box ( that i sealed myself ,closed the port) Now ive been to the shop several times since then and ive seen the same subs being sold in all kinds of boxes, ported sealed, bandpass. i assume they just slap all this sh*t together! so how the hell do i find out what kind of box is best for my woofer???

e-mail to Polk for the box parameters or head to www.polkaudio.com find your driver and have a look at the box recommendations.

find the right volume for it- from polk...then use the calculators on this site to find the right dimentions.  Making your own box is the only way.

simple suggestion is to get the major cuts done at the lumber yard. They usually do this for free, if not, it wouldnt be to much money to get it done.

I need quality equipment, feel free to donate.

Not sure?? I have to go out and take it out of the box to have a look...will let you7 know in little while
