I'm installing an infinity basslink to the stock infinity 02 liberty headunit (code RBP headunit) and will be using the basslinks amps speaker level-inputs. Question is, where do I tap into the headunits speaker wires? Do I tap in just aft of the wire harness plug to the headunit or do I have to tap in at the speakers themselves? Seems to me I should tap in just aft of the wire harness plug (much more easy then pulling four door pnls!) Also, the basslink amp has four inputs ( front/rear + - ) do I tap into and run wires from the headunits front/rear + - speaker wires? I've read that some folks only run the rear speaker + - outputs to the amp and don't use the front + -.  Reasons why they only use two vs all four inputs? Does anyone know the color codes of the speaker wires in a 02 liberty? Any and all help/suggestions greatly needed and appreciated. TIA

ok, the reason they use two might be so they can fade the bass more to the rear or something...if you use both front and rear inputs, the bass will not fade regardless, of what the fader is set at...so if you wanna be able to fade the bass....use just the rear...if you don't want the bass to fade...use front and rear both...

Deathjester12v, Thanks for the reply and info. I looked all over the place for the wire color codes for the 02 liberty. If I may ask, how did you track the codes down? None the less, your help has been most appreciated. Dragonfly
