I found an Eclipse 5303 head unit on ebay today, and wanted to know more information on it before I buy (huge upgrade from an ailing sony CDX MP70)
Chassis Code Size?
Tuner Presets?
Cd Player (does it have a motorized face plate?)
How old is it?
Detachable Face (or other security)?
EQ Bands?
FM Sesitivity?
CD Signal to Noise Ratio?
Any of the above specs or more would be helpful!   I searched the web for a bit, but only found cars with the head unit, no specs....THANKS!

The 5303 was the cd tuner of the year when it was new back in 1998. It has no built in amplifier. It has a front / rear / sub 5 volt non clipping 55 ohm preout. It does have a motorized face. It has sound quality that most brands can drem about. It is a standard din size. It is rotary knob volume control. It has bass / treble / sub level controls or eq with an outboard dsp / eq module (current model# 2301) It sold new in Canada for $899.00. It had a very good fm tuner. It uses the same Eclipse ESN protection that renders it useless without a "key cd" of your choice. Eclipse is one of the least stolen cd player on the market today, it's theft deterrence is the most powerful there is.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
