FatMat

Anyone ever used FatMat for sound damping? Its SOO much cheaper than dynamat and it seems it all does the same thing.dream it, build it, fiberglass it

Never heard of or used them, but I know of one a bit more reputable. Check out brown bread. Or, you can go the route i went. I went to my roofing store, got stuff called peel and seal. It's the exact same thing as dynamat and all those other products. I got a roll, 12"x 72' i think, it ran me 40 bucks. i did my who trunk with plenty to spare. Sounds great too. I've used fatmat and it served it's purpose. I didn't have any more rattles in that door. I got it pretty cheap too. Whether or not it is actually the same as the more expensive stuff, I'm not sure.
