Sup, I just got a new amp, Here are the specs:

Model: Audiobahn A1500HCT

  • 2000 Watts RMS x 1 @ 1 Ohms.
  • 1000 Watts RMS x 1 @ 2 Ohms.
  • 500 Watts RMS x 1 @ 4 Ohms.
  • 24dB High-pass Crossover: 50Hz - 750Hz (Variable Type)
  • 24dB High-pass Crossover: 30Hz - 120Hz (Variable Type)
  • 20Hz - 45Hz Variable Subsonic Filter
  • Bass Boss Frequency from 40 Hz - 100 Hz
  • Signal to Noise Ratio: > 100 dB (+/- 1 dB)
  • 10 - 20 KHz Frequency Response
  • -- The question I have is, what would be the best sub's (2 12'' subs is what I'm looking for) I could get, I would like to run them at 1ohm.  I would also like to stick with a full audiobahn 'theme', of course I will take other sub suggestions ;).  Also I would just like to state, that this amp is pretty damn powerful, more than I expected, from all the audiobahn 'trashtalk' I've seen on the net.

-- Thanks for any suggestions... Please give some... ;D

Nice amp, it wails dude. What vehicle is it for, do you have a budget, are you a annoy the neighbourhood kind of person (one note wonder bass) or do you want to listen to your music and get shaken like a bowl of jello in an earthquake if need be? Sometimes the best of systems are a mix match of equipment, keep the options open.

    Well, Lets see here...

The vehicle is a 2003 Ford Escape, Pletty of room in the damn thing, I am making a custom box for it atm.  The budget fits the speakers ;).  I want people to stop and look, and say omg my head hurts, but I also want my subs for a while, heh. On another note, My friend at work use to work at a car audio store, and they had some comp. that they entered. They used Crossfire subs (not sure on what size/model), and they hit around 160-170.  That was one of the world records for the time, or somethin.  Back to the details.. I just want something that can be felt it the most depths of your gut. ;)
