wich one would be better for my setup i have a 12inch square kicker with an 1800wt pyramid crystal amp  now i know that a square sub wouldnt sound good in a bandpass but should i get a sealed or a ported box? (its in the trunk of my car)

unless you know how to properly build and get the right specifications, putting a sub into an unsuited bandpass box will blow up the sub (or so i heard). personally i would go with a slotted ported box. plain and simple!

slotted ported box for extreme spl, round ports for a mixture of spl and sq and then the sealed box for the sq. personally i would use slotted just because that is a more spl sub and well i love my bass.
