Hey guys just wondering if you could help me out, i'm hooking up an Alpine 7875 Deck for a friend and i'm not getting any power output from the deck. I've tested the wiring right up into the deck and there is power going into the deck but the damned thing won't turn on , i've tried both hooking accessory and power directly to power and accessry to accessory , power to power , ground to ground , still get nothing turning on.  Any ideas , anyone else had this problem with the 7875? I've checked all fuses and they're all fine...

try regrounding the unit to the chasis of the vehicle. if the ground and 12+ and accy are all fine, and no fuses blown, it sounds like its a bad deck.

ya i'll try another ground next time i see her , i'm pretty sure i tested the ground but i'll double check. I initially thought it was a bad deck but apparently she brought it back to the person she bought it from and they got it to work.
