Where can I find maxi fuses and fuse holders?   Parts express doesn't have maxi just ATO/ATC.    I need some higher amp fuses to fuse my 4awg power wire going to a distribution block,   is ANL/ANE (wafer)  fuses the only fuses available for this?  I'd say between 80 and 100 amps should be sufficient for my application.

Also, this is not a fuse question but If I wanted to tap into another wire for say a 12V ignition,   what are some of the best ways to do this?       I am aware that 3M has tap connectors but that would be connecting 2 wires mid-span, I only want to tap one wire mid-span  with the end of another wire.  Of course I could just tap both wires mid-span and just tape off the end of the wire that I'm not using, Right?

The only way I feel comfortable tapping into a wire like you describe is to strip a small section, wrap the wires together, and solder.  Seems like most times I try to use a connector, it takes longer and then I'm back to it again sometime because the connection came apart.

3m also makes taps the way you are talking about, for your fuses i would suggest mobile-emotions.com because the prices are good and the customer support is awesome.
