Does anyone have a wiring diagram or know what the wires do going into the sub amp for an 03 explorer audiophile system?

There are two BLACK/ orange, a red, and a WHITE/ blue.

I appreciate any help you can give.

Take a look to see how many wires in this plug.
Here are the connections at the amp for the eight pin plug:
pin 8 = SW audio negative
pin 7 = SW audio positive
pin 3 = SW audio shield
pin 1 = SW amp turn on
pin 2 = BLACK/ orange = ground
pin 6 = yellow = 12v batt
pins 3,4,5 = no connection
Always test to see if this matches what you have, BTW, seeing that this is a stupid Ford and they like to confuse the hell out of everybody (remember the red wire being a ground on Mustang amps? who else but Ford would use a red wire for ground 03 Explorer Sub Amp -- posted image. ) I take no responsibility for the consequences of the information shared.

Thanks.  I think the input has only 4 wires.  Any ideas?

Also, what is the "audio shield"? I'm not familiar with that.

Audio shield is just that . . .a radio interference shield to keep the signals noise free like the outer braid in an RCA cable.

i'm guessing the BLACK/ orange are the signal coming from the radio, the red is ground, and the WHITE/ blue is power. That just a ruff guess though so dont take my word.
