sub enclosure question

does anyone know the amount of cubic feet needed for a 10 inch sub in a sealed enclosure?, also is it better to run a pair of subs bridged from a 2 channel amp or run them seperately?

the amp is a lanzar vibe 240 , 2 channels 2 x 300 W at 4 ohms/ channel

subs are 10" db audio raptors rated at 500 W rms

I don't know those woofers at all, but that amp is actually rated at 2 X 75 watts RMS or 1 X 150 watts RMS into 4 ohms.  If you run it bridged you must have no less than a 4-ohm total load.  It is generally better to run multiple subs from a mono amp (in this case, in bridged mode.)  What is the rated impedence on your speakers?

I have to warn you that I have never had a good opinion of Lanzar and have seen many of them simply stop working when pushed.  The ratings tend to be on the "optimistic" side, so don't expect miracles and be ultra conservative with this amp if you want it to last.
