If i were to build kick pods with a midrange and tweeter how do i get the right angles and direction and all? What are some rules of thumb and whatnot.

When I did mine, it was all about trial and error. I did a couple of set before I got them imaged properly. I dont know if there is a better way to do it or not but I have always been a big fan of trial and error because theory's are all well and good but when its right in front of me its easier to work with

Yes, I agree, as every car is different and every speaker performs differenly.  Start with tweets aimed towards the dome light...

I would do trial and error but i am going to be making the kick pods out of fiberglass.But ill aim the tweeter at the dome light, what about the woofer.
