Killer Kia

Whats up guys/girls, I need a little assistance here. I at one point in time was running an MTX 8302 amp to my 2 10 inch MTX subs (T6104) in my old Cavalier, and had the JVC head unit supplying the power to the 2 front and 2 rear Infinity reference speakers. The subs are in a sealed Q Logic box with a partition on the inside seperating the 2 speakers.To make a long story short, I had to part with the 8302 and my Cavalier died, and I am now in the process of running those 2 MTX subs in my 1997 Kia Sephia (please hold laughter). I now have an MTX 421D amp and had a couple of questions.

1. Will the 421d amp have about the same level of power/quality of sound as the 8302 did?

2. What would be the best way to wire my subs to the amp? My subs are 4 ohms btw..

3. will the amp not kill my kia powered battery or should I go ahead now and get a capacitator to be safe

Here is the manual for this amp. This amp will handle your subs better since its a class D sub amp but it shouldnt really be noticeably louder (just more efficient). Wire each subs plus and minus to the plus and minus on the amp and your amp will see a 2 ohm load. This amp should be ok for your car. This diagram shows how you should wire your subs:
