Wiring Amp to moniter and PS2

I am hooking up a PS2 and moniter in a friends truck. We aren't using a head unit just the PS2. When using the amp where would I run the REM? or can I? Any help?

you can hook the remote to the battery with a switch for power...

just to clear that up before you try it and misunder stood what i said.... jic.. run the remote to a switch in dash or something then run the wire to the main battery preferably fused some where.
