I am buying a 98 eclipse next week. I was wondering what kind of subs and amp should i go with for the eclipse? I know the trunk is kind of small so should i go with two tens? i was considering either mtx or audiobahn. I really dont know to much about speakers and all that so any help would be apreciated

Thank You

Rick

It depends.  Do you want SPL (loud) or SQ (accurate music)?  It depends on how much of the interior space you want to give up.  You could put 4-12's in there if you want to.  It all depends on what you want from your system and how much money you want to spend.

small trunk? are you kidding me? the trunk is fairly large besides the gsx which has a smaller trunk depth due to the awd drivetrain...what kind of eclipse are you getting? i can give you pointers if its a turbo

Well my friend has 2 Alpine Type R's in a bandpass and they sound loud, however they arn't the cleanest set up ive ever heard, but they do get the job done. If you are just going for a loud system just get two 12" type R's. THey will be fine. Apline Type S speakers all the way around should also work.
