Its so hard to find specific install info so here's a quickie:
Got my 16ga. speaker wire running to amp but what do I do with HU speaker output? Just cap off old speaker wire at speaker site, leaving it connected to HU? I've got most if this figured out but I'm getting conflicting info on this.
*Tip from a custom install newbie: when building enclosures note that most cars are not perfectly symmetrical. I just had to cut out a bunch of metal to avoid rebuilding box.

Just capping it off and taping it so the caps won't vibrate off is fine.  Be sure you keep + and - sepearated.
