this time its lights on my guages.

i put a stereo in and during this i tried to take the gauges out and couldn't move them enough over the steering colum for it to free it self, but when i would pull it away from its position the lights (something i found out later) and gauges and everything would not work (batt guage only thing that worked). so i' not sure if its a loose connection of if the unit may have a ground plate that when not in normal position it won't work.????

now

i have the truck all back together and .......

the seat belt light  does come on when selt belt is not clicked it,  not sure why its like that now,  that really doens't too much bother me, but i didn't do anything to make that happen (and yes seat side is connected)

main concern right now......

my abs light came on (after about two hrs of driving) and now its flashes and i can get it to go out (turned truck on and off for S&G's no help).  also right when this light came on the (emer) brake light, seat belt light, came on and the speedometer pegged out (and truck is not capable to actually peg it out-speed wise).  all that went away, but the abs light problem is still there.  if you all know what i can do please tell me.  and if i'm looking for a connection behind the gauges please tell me how to get to it.  i can't get the darn thing out

thnx in advance

What year is the Dodge and what exactly did you install into it. Did you cut wires or use a harness?
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
