I have a 69 impala that I am installing a In Dash DVD Player for.

It is a new Legacy in dash unit.  My problem is this.  The Legacy wiring specs are:

Red - Power

Yellow - Memory

Black - Ground

These are the only wires coming out of the head unit for power source.

I am used to wiring newer cars, and having more wires than above from a head unit.

Can someone please help?Wiring Installation of 69 Impala -- posted image.

what help do you need?  you hook these three wires to power and ground..... the audio/video is done through your RCA or data cables (whichever that unit uses )     I'm not sure what you are having a problem figuring out......

Does the red or yellow run to the battery?  and I would assume the other runs to the accessory power?

Where should I run the accessory from in the Impala?

go to the fuse block for both.... yellow is live all the time, red is switched with the ignition.... the old style fuse block in that car should have male spade open taps to add to the circuit right on the fuse block itself.... and of course ground is ground
