Hi, was installing an aftermarket radio in a 98 Diamanti and seems it had 2 antenna leads, a small one and a normal size one. I dont get hardly any FM reception when using the normal one that fits. What am I doing wrong?

The small one is a ground it isn't an antenna.  Did you ground your new unit?  Mitsubishi doesn't have ground wire in the the factory harness.  As far as rececption,  does your car have a power antenna?  If so, make sure you connected the blue wire.  What type of HU is it?
Do it right the first time
