I just put my system in my crown vic and the amps WILL NOT turn on. I've already double checked every power wire and turn on wire connection, I cant see where there could possibly be a bad connection. I have a 4g wire with a 100A fuse running to a dist. block that drops it to two 8G. I have my turn on wire spliced so it turns on both amps. The one strange thing is on the wiring harness there is a blue/white wire that says amp turn on, and according to the list of wire colors there is a BLACK/ whire amp ground, but that wire isnt on the hraness. Does anyone have any ideas, is there something i missed? Any help would be great...all the equipment worked fine in my old car.

do you have a dmm, or a test light?   Theres not much that can be wrong.  Either bad ground, bad fuse not letting power pass, or a bad remote on from the deck.

You can try jumping a wire from the rem to the 12v+ , , if the amps turn on, then your deck has a screwed up remote ouput.

I just used a multi meter to test all the wires, power is fine, remote is fine, so the amps should be getting power. Would a bad ground stop the amps from turning on altogether? Anytime ive had a bad ground the amp would just go into protect mode. Both amps are grounded to pieces of metal right next to where the trunk brakets are, right above the wheel well. The paint is sanded off and they wires are bolted on. I cant see how that could be the problem...I am really running out of ideas here.

With car on and deck on, test for 12 DC volts at the remote turn-on terminal of each amp, with the negative probe of your multimeter contacting ground.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
