Crossovers

is there anyway i can install crossovers in my 98 grand cherokee (w/ infinity system) and keep my factory amp? if so how would i do that?

The Infinity speakers have the crossover's built into the speakers themselves. If you add a crossover to the system it will eventually get crossed over again at the speaker terminals.... basically will sound no different ( probably worse ). You would have to replace the speakers with other speakers in order to use a add on crossover to the system.

the speakers are not for the factory speakers, they came with the infinity 605cs' that i bought. i installed the speakers but not the crossovers.  is there anyway i can add on the crossovers with the facory amp?  if so how would i do that?

Just take the (+) & (-) off the speaker's and place the leads into the input of the crossover. Use the output for the woofers to the mid range and the tweeter's to the tweeters.

there are two different wires that come out of the amp.  one for the tweeters and one for the midbass.  should i put the tweeter and midbase both in the input and then the seperate the outputs to the tweeters and midbass?

If the crossover modules have two sets of inputs and then you can separate the tweeter input and the woofer input. If the modules only have a single input... use the woofer speakers and the crossover will do the rest for the output to the tweeters.
