it is relatively simple. get some 10awg and run it from the battery, to your dashboard. make sure you put a fuse on it near the battery that is rated the same as the deck or the most the wire can handle. then run your ground wire from the deck to where your amps are or will be and ground them all at the same spot. then run your remote wire and rcas down the opposite side of the car that the battery wires come in. the only 2 stock wires that you will use because it dooesn't matter how clean they are will be the acc wire that turns the deck on and if you have it, the power antenna. there is no point also in rerunning you antenna wire either, just plug it in. if you are running the speakers off the deckthen either use the existing wires or run all new ones.

talk to the guys who are on that site, things might be a bit different butit looks relatively easy to do. shouldnt take too long to run the wires.

do you know if it is possible to get a plug with all the required wires to set up the car for a new head unit so that i can use an adaptor plug to connect it to my new head unit?

you might be able to find one, but looking at one of those, i would sugest redoing it. it didnt look like they had the stereo in mind when designing it

The Holden Gemeni TE was (I believe) made for Holden by Isuzu.  I would check with a local Holden dealer or service center for the stereo wiring diagrams, or even in a local library with a gfo0od reference section.  A standard Isuzu harness may fit.  In Australia, the most common wiring harness adapters are made by Aeropro (although their website seems to be down....)
