I'm just wondering if anyone has put an aftermarket head unit in one of these new 2005 models yet and if so, does it use the same mount kit/wiring harness as the 2004 Ion?    Also, I noticed that it looks like the plastic bezel around the stereo/heater controls should just pop off but it's a little stubborn and I don't wan't to force it unless I'm sure that's all I need to remove to gain access to the stock deck.    Any help would be appericated.

Thanks.

James

Figured this all out when I took out the factory head unit - Ironically it has a standard color coded harness going from the factory harness to the deck so I simply stole the harness from the factory deck, chopped off the connector and everything else was a breeze.   Btw, this unit does use the same mounting kit as previous Saturns.  Keep in mind I had just the basic CD player in this car.
