I'm still researching high(er) end  mono amplifiers (1200 watts RMS at 1 or 4 ohms)

So far you all like:
Precision Power
Orion
Phoenix Gold
What have you heard about Autotek?

Autotek amps are as good as the ones you listed. I've heard several of them and they were impressive.

hey wayland, i got a bunch of autotek amps that im blowing out. what models were you looking at? i have used them for some time, and always found them very reliable, but through the years i picked up some other lines, and i kinda forgot about the autotek, so i have a bunch here. also, if you are looking for a serious high end 1 ohm stable amp, research memphis car audio. i use them constantly and love them. very small chrome chassis is beautiful, plus they bust  out about 1200 watts rms with no problem

I hate autotek amps. (Obvious personal reason) I think they are way to inefficiant, blow to easy, and do not produce good SQ and clarity. One you should add to that list is Nakamichi or Cadence. Both Great Amps, as well as MMATS, US Amps, and Zapco.
"I don't play games. I play Nakamichi and that for real yo" - Probably some japanese kid said this in the early 80's trying to sell stereo out of his trunk lol.

Cadence confuses the heck out of me.  They have so many lines of products, you can't tell the high end from the low end.  Plus I have no patience for figuring out what the difference between MONO 1 MONO 2,  POWER 1,  POWER 2,  POWER 3,  etc.. means

Zapco is just a bit out of the price I'm willing to pay.
