I need some box info for a pair of these 12" svc subs. I need to make the boxes individually in order to get them into the customers car. Anyone have box info for these subs, customer would prefer a slot ported enclosure. His vehicle is a 98 Prelude, subs will have to fire backwards and the slot port out the top in order for it to fit. 29" between wheel wells leaves 14.5 " for each sub, 13" in height. If a miracle happens I may be able to fit the slot ports down each side of the box.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

Somewhere on the net I found a spec for a ported box ranged from 1.25 to 2.00 cf. I'm pretty sure I've seen then at a local car audio shop in about a 1.5 cf slot ported box. It sounded pretty good too. Hope this helps you with your problem. Look at this link (scroll down towards the bottom).

Alpine here is pretty much useless as I am not a authorized dealer. We ended up going with a sealed box and from what I have found so far it should sound just fine for him. Thanks for the help anyhow. I found the same file as you have Jeff, matter of fact one of the other local installers had it saved in his database.
