Ok so here's the deal, i had 2 strings of 3 led's hooked up to a switch. I used 22AWG wire for this. Now i've ordered 2 led bars that have 6 led's each bar. Can i still use the same wiring? The led bar has no spec on current draw or anything so i'm guessing 30MA for each led for a total of well going high about 5Amps total. The switch is fine it's a 10Amp switch and my power source is fine(cig lighter wires fused at 20Amps) So it's just the wire thats worrying me.

22gauge is a little thin to be drawing a guesstamated 5 amps through. I would recommend upgrading to 18 or even 16 guage wire. That would ive you a nice safety margin incase your guesstamate is a little low.
