Today, I was driving home from work and my head unit stopped putting out sound. It still works, but just no sound. Im gonna take a guess and say the amplifier went out in it. Now I need a replacement. I am driving a couple clarion 6x9's, pioneer premiere tweeters, and some crappy 4"s. The most important drive is my Orion 10's with an arion 300 watt amp. My old CD player was a Pioner DEH3300, and I was able to adjust my subs to make them sound really good. I tried putting a Kenwood KDC-519, and I was only able to adjust bass with a + and - number that ddidnt do anything, no frequency adjusting available. I need to get a replacement now, and I want to be able to adjust my subs to their potential. I dont want a motorized face, because those break. Any suggestions would be great. I dont want to spend over 250 for the head unit, and I dont want to buy a seperate equalizer. Thanks alot

you could look into the new panisonic cdq lines.   The cq-c5310 I think that is the model # has a built in 7 channel eq along with crossovers for both HP and LP. These are about $200-$250 around here

You could also check into the Pioneeer DEH-P4600MP.  It has seperate bass control and plays MP3 format.   It cost around $180.
Do it right the first time
