I recently purchased a set of the Kenwood KFC-1687 3 way 6.5" speakers and Kenwood KFC-6908 6x9s.  Is Kenwood a good brand?  Other people told me to go with Pioneer.  And then others say Rockford Fosgate.  Did I get a cheap brand?  Or is it like cereals....there all the same?

Depends what your looking for. This is an objective question that you will get vaious responses frompeople who like Kenwood or hate them. In the end if the speakers sound good to you and you thought you got a good price on them..... then you bought good speakers.

Don't let others influence what you buy, that's the best way to get took...

If you have the ability to listen to the diferent brands side by side in a sound board you will hear a difference.  But like Jeff said, it is all up to you Adam.
