We are looking for some creative ways to add subs to this car. If you are familiar with it, you can see the trunk is pretty much divided by to cross beams forming an X. We are trying to find out how hard it is to get a subwoofer in the trunk right behind the back seat through the cross beams. Has anyone tried to take the back seat out to get a sub box in the trunk, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

on my girlfriend's 99, i just made a rectangle box for 1 infinity 10, it was a tight fit at first, but after it was in it worked fine and sounded good.  its a slot port box that could be compared to the bass tube design{long and thin}.  watch out for a bad case of trunk lid rattle.

Take a look at the new Earthquake SWS...Shallow woofer system. If you have ANY kind of size restictions in your vehicle....this is a pretty Kool answer. Handles enough power for most folks, and makes satisfying BASS.

How bout a 12 that has a mounting depth of 3 inches!!!
