What's up guys, I'm a new kid on the site. I have a 2000 Nissan Altima GLE and I have acquired some things to set up a starter sound system. I have mtx audio subwoofers and b.s. (I can't remember the name of it) amp. I just installed my jvc radio into the car replacing the existing stock radio. Now I have an amp kit with everything I need, now I need help with actually wiring the power cables. I have a pretty good understanding of the concept of wiring an amp but I was wondering, do I need to crimp the power cable and put it into the fuse holder. And also how do I connect the speaker wire to the subwoofers? Thanks a lot

Crutchfield has some good guidelines online for amp install...you can start here and learn some basic info.  For attaching speaker wire to subs or other speakers, I use F-disconnects on the wire (crimp and solder) and push them firmly onto the speaker spade terminals.  And fuse holders are designed to screw tightly to bare ended power cable.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
