Hey i just got a 12 inch Audiobahn Aw1208T Subwoofer the only amp I have is a Kenwood KAC mono amp. The audiobahn sub is rated at 1500 watts rms , and the amp peaks at 1000 watts, will I be underpowering the sub or is it over rated ? I know I probably sound stupid but Im pretty new with this stuff. Does the impendence even match? Here are the specs for the sub and the amp. The sub is 1500 rms,  frequency response of 20hz to 500 hz, eefficeincy of 91 dB, 3"Dual 2 ohm voice coil , and operates at 1 or 4 ohms. Im just going to copy and paste the amps specs from a website even though most of this won't matter. My guess is that I need a different kind of amp, if i do what can you recommend , any advice is appreciated.

Ya get a jbl bp1200.1 and run it at either 1 ohm for 1200 watts or 4 ohms at 600 watts. You can find these amps pretty cheap also.
