I know the general feeling of this forum and website hate capacitors but I hope that can be ignored just to help a brother out.  How important is it for a capacitor for it to have its own seperate ground?  Right now I have it sharing a ground with my amp.  The digital read out is also not working on it but it seemed to have evened out the voltage drains.  Thanks in advance.
