I have a rockford fosgate 800a2... And was using 4x 10" mtx roadthunder and connected seris parralel... Sounded great in my astro van... But my van broke down.... And I got a new car... A scion xb... I installed the amp and speakers... 2 underneath driver and passenger seat and 2 in the back....
Question is... I just want to upgrade my subs... I want 2 10" under the seats... And 2 12" in the back... Any recommeneded subs
Another question... How would I connect the 2 10" sub and 2 12" sub with my amp... Would it be seris parallel on 1 10" and 1 12" together on each channel... Or seris parallel on 2 10" and and seris parallel on 2 12" seperate channel... Thanks in advance....
Sorry if its long and kind of confusing....

You want two 10's and two 12's? Why?

Stick with the same size subs and keep them all in the back.

^^^^^ Exactly, find yourself how much room you have available for a box, once this is done, then you can narrow down the sub search to 2 12" 4 ohm dvc subs wired in series / parallel to 4 ohm mono for max output of your amp. Two 12" in the proper custom box will slaughter 4 subs in the incorrect box.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

Well I wanted 2 10" and 2 12" cause I already got the 2 10" box under the seats... Which is .65 cu ft airspace 6 inch dept...if I go for 4 10s.... Which subs would you receomeend.... Or if I jus go for 2 10s.... Which sub.... Or if I go for 2 12" subs in the back of my xb.... What should I get... The space is not a problem.... Thanks

The 2 10" HE2's will put out some good thump. Better watch out though, that 800.2 will put a good beating on your electrical system when you atart banging on it. Why not consider a good Class D mono Block?
